Did you know that as part of our services, we offer supervisory visits from a nurse to all of our Client’s homes? Each one of our offices provides this service. We want to ensure your family that your loved one is being taken care of, at all levels of their health.

Physical Health

We understand that this might have been the original reason your loved one needed care. Maybe they need help getting in and out of chairs, going to the store, cleaning their home, or other tasks that require physical adeptness. Maybe they have been diagnosed with dementia, or a heart condition that needs extra medical care. Our Caregivers are willing and equipped to assist in this way, and our nurses ensure that measures are being taken to keep their medical health where it should be.

Mental Health

Mental health is crucial to all other aspects of our health. Having depression determines if we want to get out of bed and go outside. Anxiety might cause us to avoid social settings. Having another person in your loved one’s home to remind them of their medications that might alleviate these symptoms, have conversations about mental health, and even provide activities for memory stimulation is just what your elderly loved on needs. Our Caregivers have the ability to help monitor and manage your loved one’s mental health in these ways.

Emotional Health

Transitions in life can present us with emotional strain. To reach emotional health, we need to process our feelings, whether that be with a friend, therapist, or a Caregiver! Similar to other life transitions, aging takes a toll on our emotions. It can be taxing to even process what aging, grief, loss and death will look like for each of us. Having someone in the home who is familiar with these tough emotions can help ease the pain as your loved one begins to grapple with these emotional questions.

Spiritual Health

Our Spiritual health is an integral part of our life. If your loved one is beginning to have trouble engaging in the spiritual activities they once enjoyed, this can be devastating, and cause unnecessary frustration. We can help! Maybe they had a bible study or church service that they were once able to attend, but can no longer dress or drive with the ease they once had. A Live-In Caregiver can help coordinate to get your loved one plugged in to these communities they love, and assist them in getting ready to attend.

We understand that a person is not just their body, not just their mind, not just their health, not just their spirit, and not just their emotions. We want to integrate health in every way as we care for your family member, so we strive to better understand how all of these topics integrate with each other, and to provide a comprehensive plan of care for all of our Clients. If you are looking for excellent home care, either Live-In or Hourly, we can help you! Your loved one doesn’t have to be uprooted and move to a facility in this tough season of life, or live without the aspects of health they once had. The solution is Home Care. Let us help you keep your loved one’s health and wellness at a higher level, and keep them at home!
