The reason why we provide our services in the first place is because so many families are in need of extra help as their loved ones age. This can be an emotional, stressful, and grief-filled time, requiring an extra helping hand. As a loved one ages, there are so many tasks and choices to be made, and we can take many of these responsibilities off from family member’s shoulders. Usually, one of the adamant requests of an aging family member is that they’d like to stay in their own home. We can make this happen for your loved one. But we can’t do it without our amazing team of Caregivers.

Our “Why” is our Caregivers.

Any Home Care Agency wouldn’t be able to function without committed and trustworthy Caregivers. They are the lifeblood of our industry! We pride ourselves on our team of excellent and collaborative individuals, and we strive to support them in any way that we can. Some of the ways we are currently supporting our Caregivers include:

  • Office Staff Support – Caregivers can reach out to their Supervisors to receive support and help at any time.

  • Effective Training – our Caregivers are provided with the expertise they need to take on new cases.

  • Competitive Pay – we compensate our Caregivers well for the awesome work they do.

  • User-Friendly Technology – we provide tablets to our Caregivers to stay up-to-date on agency news, communicate with Office Personnel, and provide interactive Apps for Clients.

Week-to-week, this means that our Facebook page is flooded with ideas for creative activities with Clients, Self-Care tips are provided on our blog frequently to prevent Caregiver burnout. Also, our Caregiver Advocate is chatting with Caregivers about how to overcome challenging situations, and we are asking our Caregivers for feedback on how to improve the training processes. Moreover, we are always listening to our Caregivers, supporting them, and looking for ways to improve their experience. This results in loyalty, confidence, and trust that can’t be found at another organization! Our Caregivers are our biggest asset, and we want to invest heavily in this important piece of our organization.

Caregiving is not an easy task.

If you have ever taken care of a loved one or friend for an extended period of time, you know that it takes a village. Our Caregivers are part of an intertwined network, and they aren’t providing care on their own. We encourage our Caregivers to take care of themselves as well as others. We can’t pour from an empty cup!
